Jennifer White

Creative Director

Creative director Jen White can confidently state that she has never had a conventional job. Influenced by her entrepreneurial family, she always had the instincts and ability to build a successful business of her own. Soon after receiving her undergraduate degree (BFA) in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2001, she started a freelance web design company. The business slowly grew and eventually became a recognized leader in the design community of Boulder, Colorado where she was residing. After moving to Los Angeles in 2008, DFM was developed to accommodate the marketing and branding demands of the large local fashion and design industry. Never drawing a boundary between work and leisure, Jen constantly considers her project’s needs and finds inspiration in every situation. As an artist herself, she finds joy in making. Whether it is perfecting homemade marshmallows to crafting shoes, the possibilities are limitless to her.

Sharon Noh

Business Director

Sharon Noh started her artistic endeavors early on as a classical pianist but decided to shift her creative energy to the visual arts and major in printmaking at RISD. Always searching for ways to expand her capacity as an artist, Sharon moved to Rome, Italy where she resided for three years directly after receiving her BFA in 2001. After constant travels within Europe, she enrolled at the French language academy, l'Ecole de l'Alliance francaise, for one year. Influenced by the architecture and forward design of Europe’s everyday life, Sharon decided then to study Industrial Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her graduate studies, Sharon worked her linguistic talents with positions in high-end furniture design showrooms, and eventually became the head of marketing and advertising for a large retail franchise in Chicago, Illinois. After receiving her MFA, Sharon joined DFM to combine her diverse background with commercial projects that can be presented in a creative, cultured and unique manner.

Maia Lee

Front-End Developer

Maia is a New York City native who made the move to Los Angeles in early 2012. After receiving her BA in English from Bowdoin College, Maia worked as an elementary school teacher, which sparked her interest in children's software and television. She headed to graduate school to receive an M.Ed in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard. After building a children's software prototype in Flash, Maia fell in love with web development and began teaching herself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After graduation, Maia spent 6 years working as a digital project manager on interactive projects for companies large and small. At DFM, Maia uses her programming skills to build client websites and make DFM designs a reality. After hours, Maia can often be found exploring LA with her dachshund, Frankie, the official DFM dog, or traveling to her favorite California spots including Big Sur and Palm Springs.

Kelly Johnson

Marketing Strategist

Kelly is an LA transplant who originally hails from the harsh tundra that is the upper Midwest. After receiving her BSBA in Marketing with a minor in Art from the University of Denver, she decided it was time to move somewhere that her passion for fusing art with business could be more fully realized. During college, Kelly fueled her love of travel by working as a Study Abroad Advisor after returning from her own trip abroad where she interned for London fashion label French Connection. At DFM, Kelly assists with brand development, blogging, marketing research and the creative process. Simultaneously, she acts as the Social Media Specialist for DFM, managing social media outlets for DFM and select clients, as well as advising clients on social media secrets and best practices. In her spare time, Kelly can usually be found shopping for shoes, perusing Style.com, or reading her favorite blog, Man Repeller, on a daily basis.

Andrea Tinchinda

Graphic Designer

Andrea is a proud SoCal native, born and raised. Attending school at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Andrea received a BA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing and has been addicted to all things art and design ever since. Naturally a driven, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, Andrea and two close friends started their own company, Sugar & Fluff, an event design company that specializes in event invitations, wedding decor, prop creation, and photo shoot styling, in 2010. At DFM, Andrea assists with all aspects of the design process from start to finish. When she's not busy designing, Andrea is typically obsessing about puppies (and dreaming of the day when she will finally have one of her own), wandering around local flea markets searching for various trinkets and treasures, and reading a plethora of design & tech blogs including Mashable, The Dieline, and Gizmodo.

Sheriah Altobar

Graphic & Web Designer

A Los Angeles native, Sheriah ("shur-ree-ə") loves all this city has to offer – food, art, culture, and even the occasional celebrity scandal. Having graduated from a math and science academy, Sheriah is a nerd-at-heart; however, her passion for art led her to explore a career in design. She received her BA in Design and Media Art from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is responsible for assisting in the development of new websites, making exciting effects and animations using HTML & CSS, and maintaining client sites. On the weekends, Sheriah can most often be found at Disneyland, Dodgers Stadium, or on a last-minute standby trip by way of JetBlue.

Rachel Farrell

Graphic Designer

Rachel, a recent transplant to LA, packed her car in the fall of 2012 and drove 3,000 miles from Vermont to California in search of sunshine, big changes, and amazing experiences. She received a BA in Multimedia & Graphic Design from Champlain College in 2011, and after working as a Graphic Designer for a year in Vermont, decided it was time to take her passion to a place with endless opportunities. At DFM, Rachel assists the entire team with various graphic design needs (including some photo retouching and blogging as well). So far, she is loving every minute of her experiences in LA and at DFM and couldn't be happier with the move out to Los Angeles.
